Elliana - Age 3

I shot some photos of my cousin Christina's daughter, Elianna. Three-year-olds do not like to pose for pictures. That's why I usually just take some long glass and chase after them using natural light. Everybody is happier that way. You can also get some fun, candid images. I love how happy she looks throwing leaves in the sky, I hate myself for chopping off her feet in the bottom of the frame.

First Friday Show

If you're in Lincoln on Friday, come to the 11th street Cultiva Coffee House between 6:30 pm and 9:00 pm to see some of my favorite nature photos of Nebraska (and one-and-a-half of Iowa). This photo was shot in Iowa but looking towards the Nebraska bluffs along the Missouri River Valley. I shot it at the Hitchcock Nature Center a few weeks ago. This has been a beautiful fall, I'm glad I got to shoot a lot.
